Job Description:
- Conduct field data analysis and numerical research related to ground support systems for deep underground mining operations.
- Develop and apply numerical models for support systems (e.g., bolts, mesh, shotcrete).
- Analyze and interpret laboratory testing results, focusing on both static and dynamic performance.
- Participate in the design and evaluation of ground support systems, integrating field data into research outcomes.
- Collaborate with industry partners and disseminate findings through scientific publications and conferences.
- Opportunity to contribute to teaching activities may also be available.
