  • Must have completed no more than 36 months of full-time equivalent study in a doctoral program by December 31 of the application year.
  • Open to both Canadian citizens and international applicants (up to 15% of awards for international students).
  • Must be enrolled in an eligible doctoral program at a Canadian institution.
  • Previous holders of doctoral scholarships from CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC are not eligible.
