Research Area
- Effects of environmental factors (e.g., air pollution, ambient heat) on health.
- Adaptation of urban and rural areas for physically active lifestyles.
- Investigation of health impacts related to green or blue spaces.
Eligibility/Qualification
- Completed PhD in sport or health sciences, physiology, (environmental) epidemiology, public health, bioinformatics, or related field.
- Relevant scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience in physical activity data acquisition and statistical data analysis, with knowledge in R or Stata.
- Motivation for leadership roles in collaborative projects.
Job Description
- Conduct independent research within the group’s focused themes.
- Publish scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Coordinate international multi-center research projects.
- Engage in science communication and outreach activities.
- Support and supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s theses.
- Opportunity for teaching involvement if desired.
