Research Area

The project’s focus area includes:

  • Development of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) as biomimetic receptors.
  • Electrochemical biosensors for non-invasive analysis.
  • Monitoring of stress-related biomarkers (e.g., cortisol) in biological fluids like saliva and sweat.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • An MSc degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or related disciplines.
  • Proven interest in the subject matter.
  • Excellent command of English (Level B2 or higher) with strong writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description

  • Engage in experimental research, including:
  • Rational selection of functional monomers via computational modeling and spectroscopic analysis.
  • Polymerization method optimization and target biomarker selection.
  • Integration of MIPs into portable sensing platforms.
  • Analysis and interpretation of MIP-based sensor signals in biological samples.
