Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Must hold a PhD or equivalent degree obtained within 5 years of the application deadline, or
  • Be a PhD student defending thesis before April 1, 2027 (confirmation letter required).

Job Description:

The Postdoctoral Fellowship aims to:

  • Support innovative research addressing major sustainability challenges.
  • Focus on biotechnology applications for improved productivity and environmental protection.
  • Include potential collaboration with non-profit research institutions in the Nordic region.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Engineering biotechnological tools for sustainable product synthesis.
  • Technologies for monitoring microbial activity.
  • Bioproduction processes for a future bioeconomy.
  • Data science applications in biotechnology.
