Eligibility/Qualification
- General Requirements:
- Completed degree at advanced level (minimum 240 ECTS credits including at least 60 ECTS at advanced level)
- Alternatively, equivalent knowledge through experience.
- Specific Requirements:
- Minimum 90 ECTS in Biology or related fields (e.g., Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science/Bioinformatics)
- At least 15 ECTS in relevant subjects and 15 ECTS from an individual project course.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
Job Description
The PhD student will:
- Develop and implement experimental approaches for validating regulatory elements.
- Perform molecular biology experiments, including nucleic acid extraction and sequencing.
- Generate, process, and interpret genome-wide datasets.
- Integrate experimental results with computational analyses.
- Establish reproducible workflows for both experimental and analytical tasks.
- Engage in scientific communication through presentations and publications.
