Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in polymer science and engineering, composites, wood and cellulose science, materials science and engineering, or related areas.
- Strong experimental skills in materials preparation/synthesis and characterization of structure and properties.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong English language proficiency is essential.
- Doctoral degree should ideally be awarded within the last three years or with accepted reasons for a later date.
Job Description:
The Postdoc will focus on the development of transparent wood and cellulose biocomposites that merge mechanical performance, recyclability, and optical properties. Responsibilities include:
- Planning, executing, and analyzing experiments.
- Collaborating with team members and discussing findings.
- Reporting results orally and in writing.
- Addressing current challenges in composite processing, optical/mechanical functions, and polymer matrix improvements.
