Eligibility/Qualification

  • Excellent Master’s degree followed by a PhD in:
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Computational Engineering
  • Computational Mathematics
  • Data Sciences/Analysis
  • System or Process Engineering
  • Related Fields
  • Proficient in API programming and automation engineering (LabVIEW and/or EPICS)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data science, analysis, management, and machine learning
  • Advanced programming skills in Python
  • Experience with data-driven machine learning (e.g., SINDy, LASSO, SISSO)
  • Basic knowledge of electrochemistry is desirable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in English (at least B2 level CEFR); German language skills are a plus

Job Description

At IET-1, you will:

  • Develop APIs for electrolysis systems and analysis devices
  • Implement autonomous process control for electrolysis
  • Conceptualize and build degradation models for electrolysis units
  • Study the performance and degradation of electrolysis under various operating modes
