Research Area
- Investigation of physical and chemical processes of single molecules.
- Characterization of single molecules on surfaces by scanning tunneling microscopy.
- Manipulation of functional molecules (e.g., switches or motors) on surfaces.

Eligibility/Qualification
- Completed master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, or related subjects.
- Desired experience in surface science, scanning probe microscopy, ultra-high-vacuum, or low-temperature techniques.
- Excellent command of German and English.
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills are essential.
Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting research on physical and chemical processes at the molecular level.
- Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz.
- Independently teaching courses and participating in examinations and organizational tasks.
- Supervising students and engaging in evaluation measures.
