Job Description & Key Responsibilities

  • Method Development & Analysis: Develop and apply bioinformatic approaches for single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq data analysis, and multimodal integration.
  • Multi-Omics Integration: Integrate other omics modalities (e.g., somatic copy number and mutation analysis).
  • Translational Collaboration: Collaborate closely with wet-lab team members to interpret omics findings within a translational, clinical context.
  • Scientific Dissemination: Write high-quality scientific manuscripts and present research findings at national and international conferences.
  • Funding & Fellowships: Proactively apply for competitive PhD/Postdoc fellowships as part of your ongoing career development.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Education: MSc or PhD degree (completed or near completion) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Systems Biology, or Cancer Genomics.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in R and Python.
    • Solid experience in NGS data analysis.
    • Strongly preferred: Experience with cancer genomics, single-cell RNA-seq, and/or ATAC-seq analysis.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with cell biology, cancer biology, or molecular biology concepts.
  • Soft Skills: Well-organized, independent yet highly collaborative in interdisciplinary teams, possessing a genuine curiosity and drive to learn.
