Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Education: A Master’s degree in Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences, Psychology, or a related field relevant to the PhD topic. (Candidates graduating by the application deadline with a strong CV are encouraged to apply).
  • Knowledge & Interests: Strong interest in/knowledge of social and sport psychology. Knowledge of or interest in biomechanics and human movement analysis is a major asset.
  • Mindset: Multidisciplinary orientation, creativity, initiative, and the ability to work independently while being a strong team player alongside engineers and computer scientists.
  • Academic Record: An excellent academic CV and willingness to develop a personal research funding application with supervisor support.
  • Teaching & Skills: Willingness to undertake teaching duties, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Job Description

  • Conduct scientific research on social identity and running behavior.
  • Investigate citizen-science approaches to monitor running surface quality while strengthening runners’ social identification with the community.
  • Supervise Master’s thesis students within the research domain.
  • Provide teaching assistance in courses matching your profile.
  • Provide administrative and technical support for activities within the Department of Movement Sciences and the faculty.
