Eligibility / Qualification

  • Mandatory Requirements:
    • A doctoral degree (PhD) or an equivalent foreign degree, which must be completed no later than the time the employment decision is made.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • PhD obtained within the last 3 years prior to the application deadline.
    • Research expertise in mechatronics, robotics, and/or control systems.
    • Strong interdisciplinary communication skills, collaborative mindset, and structured work style.
    • Teaching experience/competence.
    • Awareness of diversity, equal opportunity, and gender equality issues.

Job Description

  • Lead research efforts developing control systems for soft cardiovascular pumps and wearable biofeedback devices.
  • Evaluate control system safety in real-time using hybrid mock circulation setups simulating human cardiovascular dynamics across various patient groups.
  • Work closely with clinical stakeholders and international partners to exchange research insights and medical feedback.
  • Publish research findings independently in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
  • Support research group coordination and mentor/supervise students.
