Eligibility & Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from a recognized university/institution.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the award of their degree are also eligible to apply.
- Proven track record of high-quality research demonstrated during or after the Ph.D. program.
- Prior hands-on research experience in organic synthesis and/or natural product synthesis.
Fellowship / Monthly Remuneration
- With Ph.D. Degree: Rs. 58,000/- per month + 10% HRA (upon producing the Ph.D. Certificate).
- Ph.D. Thesis Submitted: Rs. 42,000/- per month + 10% HRA (must provide a letter from a competent authority confirming thesis submission and pending viva/defense).
Job Description & Research Scope
The selected Research Associate will work directly under the guidance of Principal Investigator Dr. Kiran Kumar Pulukuri. The project focuses on the complex total syntheses of bioactive molecules (Cryspatanolide and Euonyminol) utilizing site-selective olefin functionalization, as well as advancing the chemical process development for the potent anticancer drug Trabectedin.
Selection Process
