Post-doctoral Researchers Positions in UK, King’s College London

Designation/Position-  Post-doctoral Researchers Positions in UK

King’s College London, UK invites application for Post-doctoral Researchers Positions in UK from eligible and interested candidates

About- An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Immunology & Microbial Sciences at King’s College London in the laboratory of Dr Annika Warnatsch. Dr Warnatsch investigates the role of neutrophil-mediated reactive oxygen production in antiviral inflammation. Specifically, the project will analyse the regulation of innate and adaptive immune responses through reactive oxygen species localisation during respiratory virus infections such as influenza A virus and SARS-CoV-2. The successful candidate will work closely with Dr Warnatsch but also design, perform and interpret experimental protocols independently. The postdoc will be expected to be self-motivated, able to organise and self-direct, write up and present results and findings. The candidate will be required to hold a PhD in a relevant area with significant background in innate immunology, inflammation, lung biology or virus infection.
