Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential –
- -Postgraduation in Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation/Biomedical/Control Systems Engineering (M.Tech/M.E./PhD).
- -Experience in design, development and testing of biomedical devices.
- -Familiarity with the design, development and maintenance of necessary documents.
- -Excellent communication, both verbal and written in English
- – Familiarity with the product development life cycle
Desirable
- –Prior Experience working in the domain of mechanical ventilation.
- -Knowledge and experience in the area of fluid dynamics.
Job/Position Description-
Project Title: Development of Low-Cost Indigenous High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) Device for Non-Invasive Ventilation Amid COVID-19 Pandemic. The project is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DS) under the aegis of Biomedical Device and Technology Development (BDTD).
Department: Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh.
Responsibility- Assisting Principal Investigator in design. development, documentation. testing and validation of HFNC device.
Emolument- INR 56.000/-+ 16 % HRA (Fixed)
*This post is initially for 3 months and can be extended up to the duration of the project subject to performance and periodic evaluations.
