Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Biomaterials, or an equivalent field with experience in cell culture and tissue engineering techniques.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and ensure laboratory safety.
- Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to write and maintain research plans and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated publication record.
Job Description:
- Conduct and manage a research project focused on understanding how cells regulate hierarchical collagen fiber formation for functional tendon and ligament regeneration.
- Utilize a novel culture system to investigate how ligament fibroblasts sense and respond to mechanical cues during fiber formation.
