PhD Student (m/f/d) in Integrative Biomedicine Research
A unique PhD opportunity awaits you in the lab of Prof. Michela Di Virgilio at the MDC. As part of the Genome Diversification & Integrity laboratory, your role will focus on understanding the intricate relationship between antibody gene diversification and genome stability in B lymphocytes. Your contributions will not only contribute to the broad field of genome integrity but also shed light on mechanisms underlying protective immunity and carcinogenesis. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing experimental research plans, analyzing data, interpreting results, and disseminating findings.
Requirements: We are seeking a passionate researcher (m/f/d) with a strong affinity for laboratory-based research. An essential qualification is a master’s degree in Biomedical/Life Sciences. Your drive and dedication will set you apart, and proficiency in spoken and written English is a must. Collaborative skills and the ability to work in a team are crucial. While not mandatory, prior knowledge of the Genome Integrity & DNA Repair field will be advantageous.
