Post-Doc in Ex/In Situ Conservation: The Memphis Zoo is offering a 3-year Post-doctoral Research Fellowship in the Department of Conservation and Research for a dedicated individual with expertise in Amphibian Ecology and a passion for conservation. This position focuses on linking ex situ and in situ conservation efforts and advancing amphibian conservation at the Memphis Zoo.

Eligibility/Qualification: To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Ph.D. in biological sciences or related field (to be completed by Dec 2023)
- Proficiency in designing and coordinating research projects
- Strong record of peer-reviewed publications
- Proficiency in R statistical software or equivalent
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and manage research projects
- Experience in collaborating with diverse groups and communicating scientific discoveries to the public
Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Ex/In Situ Amphibian Conservation, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and supervising research projects focused on amphibian conservation.
- Communicating conservation and research efforts to the public.
- Establishing and maintaining collaborations with universities and institutions.
- Securing external funding for research projects.
- Engaging in media, development, and public speaking opportunities.
- Mentoring and developing research capacity in students, interns, and technicians.
- Cultivating a positive, collaborative, and encouraging professional environment.
- Performing various assigned duties.
