PhD Students and Postdoctoral Fellows : The Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology & Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa, Canada, is seeking motivated PhD students and postdoctoral fellows to join our research group. Our projects focus on understanding the communication between muscle stem cells and their niche environment, especially in the context of aging and disease. We employ cutting-edge multi-omics approaches, including scRNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, mass spectrometry-based proteomics, muscle stem cell transplantation models, and computational methods, to unravel the interactions between muscle stem cells and niche cells during various biological processes.
