Job Description:
Postdoctoral Research Position in Particle Physics and Instrumentation
The Particle Physics and Instrumentation Group at IFCA specializes in the development of sensitive instruments with exceptional background rejection capabilities for dark matter experiments. The primary focus is on the DAMIC-M project, aiming to directly detect light dark matter-electron scattering or establish world-leading limits in the sub-GeV mass range. The successful candidate will contribute to DAMIC-M, take a leadership role in establishing a CCDs test stand for impurity analysis, conduct simulations, manage data (including Data Quality Monitoring), perform physics analyses, and participate in underground detector construction.
