The position involves working on the National Science Foundation-sponsored research project “Advancing Collaborations for Equity in Marine and Climate Sciences (ACE-MCS).” The research focuses on examining equity-driven and anti-racist educational collaborations in marine and climate science, specifically within the Woods Hole Collaborative Network (WHCN).

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Terminal degree in a relevant social science field (higher education, STEM education, sociology, ethnic studies, etc.)
  • Proficiency in qualitative interviewing and data analysis
  • Knowledge of critical theories of race and racism (e.g., Critical Race Theory, Intersectionality)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-institutional team environment

Job Description: The postdoctoral fellow will contribute to the ACE-MCS project by conducting qualitative data collection, analysis, and management. Responsibilities include writing literature reviews, developing data visualizations, and presenting results in various formats. The role involves collaborating with a multi-institutional research team, mentoring and training graduate research assistants, and participating in the dissemination of project findings.
