Postdoctoral Scholar- Physics: The University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar position in the Department of Physics. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research in one of two areas: (i) High-precision calculations in atomic parity violation, or (ii) developing a data analysis toolbox for novel, exotic physics in multi-messenger astronomy with quantum sensors. Computational skills are essential for this role, and while previous experience in the specific areas is not mandatory, a Ph.D. in Physics or a related field is required. The appointment is for a period of 4 years.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Physics or a related field.
- The doctoral degree must have been completed within the five years immediately preceding the first date of appointment.
- No previous positions in the professional ranks.
- Computational skills are essential.

- Engage in cutting-edge research in collaboration with the Department of Physics
- Provide a letter from the graduate school if the Ph.D. is not obtained by the time of the interview
- Attend to postdoctoral responsibilities, including research, dissemination, and potential teaching
