AIME Postdoctoral Researcher: Aston University is seeking a talented Postdoctoral Research Associate to join a groundbreaking research project funded by the Aston Institute of Membrane Excellence (AIME). The project aims to develop fluorescently tagged and modified polymers for membrane protein extraction and purification.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in a relevant field

  • Experience in leading research projects

Job Description:

  • Engage in polymer synthesis and chemical modification for membrane protein applications
  • Conduct testing for extraction and purification of membrane proteins
  • Investigate molecular mechanisms underlying protein extraction
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary academic teams
  • Drive research projects on a day-to-day basis
  • Full training provided as necessary
