Eligibility-
Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification: Experience of any or more of the following: (i) Experience in Bioinformatics research (ii) Programming with R/Python (iii) Machine learning (iv) Designing /maintaining databases (v) Computer systems management and networks
Upper age limit: 35 Years*.
Relaxation of age in case of SC/ST/OBC/ Physically Challenged candidates will be as per Govt. Rules.
Job/Position Description-
Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application from Indian Citizens for one temporary position of Project Scientist in the DBT sponsored project entitled “National Network Project of Bose Institute with Indian Statistical Institute and Vidyasagar University”. The objectives of the project are in the domain of Bioinformatics.
The position is purely temporary on contractual basis. Initially the engagement will be given for one year, which is extendable based on review of performance every year and availability of funding in the project. The project is tenable upto 24.01.2029 and the position, if renewed, is co-terminus with the project.
Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- p.m., plus 24% HRA.
