NIAMT, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India invites applications for Contract Faculty Position at NIAMT from eligible and interested candidates

About- Applications are invited from the eligible and academically bright candidates with flair for teaching engineering students, for engagement as Assistant Professor on contract purely on a temporary basis with consolidated salary. Selection may be made through Walk-in-Interview based on recommendation of Selection Committee constituted by the Institute.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Materials and Metallurgical Engineering	B.E/ B.Tech. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering and M. E./ M.Tech. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering with first class or equivalent division in any one of the degrees. Desirable: Ph.D. in relevant fields. OR Integrated M. E./ M.Tech. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering with first class or equivalent division. Desirable: Ph.D. in relevant fields. OR Candidates who have done Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science Engineering from. Institute of National Importance after B. E./B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering with first class or equivalent division and qualified in GATE shall be eligible. M. E. / M. Tech. is not required for such candidates.	01 (UR) 01 (SC) 01 (ST)	Desired Specialization in loT and Embedded System, Cloud Computing, Theoretical Computing, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, and Data science, Pattern recognition, Computer Vision, Image Processing and Signal Processing, Natural Language Processing, Computer Organization and Architecture, Operating System, Software engineering. Edge and Fog Computing, Big Data, Network and Information Security, Cryptography, Blockchain, Cyber physical system and other related specialization of computer Engineering or Computer Science Engineering.

Job/Position Description-

Appointments will be given initially for 11 months likely to commence from October/November 2024 which may or may not be extended further. However, for further extension the same procedure of appointment will be followed.
This recruitment is purely on temporary basis and Contractual Faculty so appointed shall have no claim for regular appointment.
