1. Project: Monitoring of Wildlife Overpasses and Underpasses on Samruddhi Expressway Phase II

AND Minimum three (03) years relevant experience post PhD. Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated experience/ aptitude in a) spatial analysis and ecological modelling, b) statistical analysis, c) project design and coordination of multi-disciplinary project team and field data collection c) research publications in peer-reviewed national/ international journals.	Candidate will lead a team and conduct field research, surveys, data collection, analysis and report-writing for monitoring of wildlife underpasses and overpasses. Job also includes liasoning with forest department and MSRDC.	Rs. 67,000 + HRA	40
Project Associate – I (Ecology) No of positions: Four (04)	Five (05) Years	Essential Qualification: Masters’s Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. Desired Qualifications: Candidate(s) with prior experience in camera trapping, sign surveys, distance sapling and vegetation surveys will be preferred. GIS, GPS, statistical analysis, and report writing knowledge is desirable. Should be able to undertake arduous field work in human dominated landscape of Maharashtra as well as forests.	Conduct monitoring of wildlife underpasses and overpasses using camera trapping, sign surveys and other field techniques. Undertake misc. field activities as required in the project. Candidates will also be required to analyze the data and write reports.	Rs. 31,000 + HRA	35

2. Project: Understanding elephant conflict issues for suggesting conflict reduction measures (Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Assam)
Principal Project Associate (Ecology) No of positions: One (01)	One (01) Year	Essential Qualification: Masters’s Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Environmental Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. AND 8 years experience after master’s degree with publications in peer-reviewed journals in relevant field. OR Doctoral Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized University. Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated experience/ aptitude in a) spatial analysis and ecological modelling, b) statistical analysis, c) project design and coordination of multi-disciplinary project team and field data collection c) research publications in peer-reviewed national/ international journals. 3. Project: Response to Anthropocene and climate change: Movement ecology of selected mammal species across the Himalayan region

AND 8 years experience after master’s degree with publications in peer-reviewed journals in relevant field. OR Doctoral Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized University. Desired Qualifications: Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated experience/ aptitude in a) spatial analysis and ecological modelling, b) statistical analysis, c) project design and coordination of multi-disciplinary project team and field data collection c) research publications in peer-reviewed national/ international journals. Candidate will be required to work in the rugged trans-himalayan terrain of Ladakh India.	The proposed project aims to study the movement ecology of selected mammal species with different ecological adaptations across the IHR. The selected mammal species are Pallas’s cat (Otocolobus manul), Himalayan wolf (Canis lupus) and Himalayan marmot (Marmota himalayana). The work involves capture and tagging of target species and intensive monitoring in tough and rugged terrain of Ladakh India.	PPA Rs. 49,000 + HRA RA – I Rs. 47,000 + HRA	PPA 40 RA – I 35
