Eligibility/Qualification–

Assistant Professor Grade I

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• First Division in the preceding degree or equivalent.
• Excellent academic record throughout.
• Minimum 3 years of post-Ph.D. teaching, research, or industrial experience.

Assistant Professor Grade II

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• First Division in the preceding degree.
• Excellent academic record.
• Candidates with less than 3 years post-Ph.D. experience may be appointed on contract and considered for regular appointment after performance review.

Note: Experience gained during the Ph.D. programme will not be counted as post-Ph.D. experience. Exceptional candidates from industry may receive relaxation in experience requirements at the institute’s discretion.

Salary

Selected faculty members will:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Conduct high-quality research in their respective disciplines.
• Supervise Ph.D., M.Tech., and undergraduate students.
• Establish externally funded research programmes.
• Publish in reputed journals and conferences.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental activities.
• Engage in institute administration and academic outreach
