Eligibility/Qualification–

Qualifications vary significantly based on the specific role and project domain:

NPDF & RA-1: Requires a Ph.D. completed or nearing completion in relevant engineering branches (Electrical, Computer Science, IT, Electronics) with quality publications.
SRF & JRF: Requires a Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech/M.S./M.Sc./MCA) in a relevant field. Candidates with a valid GATE score are highly preferred. SRF candidates also need prior research experience.
Project Associate & Assistant: Requires a B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc. in relevant engineering or science domains.
Field Assistant: Requires a B.Sc., BCA, or a 3-year Diploma in Computer Engineering, IT, or Electronics.
Note: Candidates who do not meet the mandatory NET/GATE qualifications for JRF/SRF may be considered for an appropriate lower designation.

Job Position Description-

COEP Technological University (COEP Tech), Pune, in collaboration with IIT Bombay, is inviting applications for 13 temporary project positions under the ANRF-PAIR Hub-Spoke model. These positions are purely temporary, non-vacational, and co-terminus with the ANRF-PAIR Project (2025–2030). This is an excellent opportunity for researchers and engineers to work on cutting-edge technological advancements funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).

Responsibilities depend heavily on the assigned project, but generally encompass:

Engineering & Prototyping: Designing, simulating (using tools like MATLAB, Ansys, PyTorch), and executing experiments for EV motors, power converters, or digital twin systems.
Data & AI: Gathering datasets, performing gap analysis, developing deep learning models for cybersecurity (Deepfake detection), and deploying AI models on GPU systems (NVIDIA cards).
Research & Publication: Drafting scientific manuscripts for high-impact journals, presenting findings at conferences, and conducting comprehensive literature reviews.
Field Work: Assisting Principal Investigators (PIs) with dataset creation, feature extraction, and visiting industries for data collection (specifically for Field Assistant roles).
