Eligibility/Qualification–

Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree and an outstanding academic record in the relevant discipline.
Strong research record through publications in reputed journals (Q1), refereed conferences (A*), patents, or equivalent work.
Experience requirements and pay levels differ by post:
- Assistant Professor Grade-II (Pay Level 10 or 11): Less than 3 years post-Ph.D. experience.
- Assistant Professor Grade-I (Pay Level 12): At least 3 years post-Ph.D. experience.
- Associate Professor (Pay Level 13A2): Minimum 6 years post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 3 years as Assistant Professor or equivalent.
- Professor (Pay Level 14A): Minimum 10 years post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 4 years as Associate Professor in specific reputed institutions.
Specific UG/PG qualification requirements exist for each department (see the detailed advertisement or departmental webpages).
Reservation and age relaxation as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD.

Job Position/Description–

IIT Hyderabad invites applications from exceptionally bright and motivated Indian nationals (including Persons of Indian Origin and Overseas Citizens of India), as well as eligible foreign nationals, for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. This is a special drive dedicated to candidates from SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD categories. Faculty appointments will be across multiple departments and research areas.

Develop and teach courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the relevant department or affiliated departments.
Conduct high-quality research leading to publications/patents/industry collaboration.
Mentor students and guide research projects.

Establish a strong research program and contribute to sponsored research and technology commercialization.
Engage in interdisciplinary and collaborative initiatives.
