About- The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), a National Centre of TIFR, and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) invite applications for faculty appointments at the levels of Reader, Associate Professor, and Professor. Opportunities are available in Science Education Research and several core science disciplines for candidates with outstanding research records and a commitment to teaching and academic leadership.

Location- HBCSE and various campuses and centres of TIFR in India, including Mumbai.
Eligibility/Qualification–
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. from a recognized institution with an outstanding research record. Postdoctoral experience is expected for most positions, though exceptional fresh Ph.D. graduates may be considered for entry-level appointments. Candidates in education, humanities, and social sciences with strong contributions closely related to STME are also encouraged to apply.

Designation
Faculty positions at the levels of Reader, Associate Professor, and Professor.
Successful candidates will lead independent and innovative research programs, supervise graduate students, contribute to teaching in the TIFR Graduate School, and participate in academic and outreach initiatives. At HBCSE, faculty are also expected to contribute to national programs in science and mathematics education, teacher professional development, and educational research and development.

Submit a detailed CV, names of at least five referees, the required personal and academic information, a statement of purpose, and research proposals directly to the appropriate Head of Department/Centre.
