- Benchmarking: Validate mechanics measurements against established techniques like atomic force microscopy (AFM).
- Analysis: Quantify rupture, hysteresis, memory, and recovery behavior in the non-linear regime.
- Advanced Applications: Investigate complex, multi-component networks, including enzyme- or drug-loaded microgels, for potential biomedical use.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: Completed or near-completion of an M.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in physics, biophysics, or soft matter physics.
- Soft Skills: Highly motivated, team-oriented, and passionate about multidisciplinary research.
- Communication: Professional proficiency in English.
Why Join DWI?
- Supportive environment with strong supervision and interdisciplinary collaborations.
