About- National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal is an Institute of National Importance, established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, imparts education in the field of Engineering, Science and Management at UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels.

Eligibility/Qualification–

The minimum qualifications and remuneration to be paid to the Teaching Assistant(s) purely on ad-hoc basis is as given below:

1^st Class or an equivalent CGPA (Min 6.5 on the scale of 10) in M. Tech / M.E. and 1^st Class or an equivalent CGPA (Min 6.5 on the scale of 10) in B. Tech / B.E with specialization in Nano-Electronics / VLSI Design in the branch of Electronics Engineering	Rs.45,000/-
Ph. D. (in appropriate branch) with 1^st Class or an equivalent CGPA (Min 6.5 on the scale of 10) in B. Tech / B.E and 1^st Class or an equivalent CGPA (Min 6.5 on the scale of 10) in M. Tech / M.E.(Engg.) with with specialization in Nano- Electronics / VLSI Design in the branch of Electronics Engineering	Rs.60,000/-

Job/Position Description-

The institute is going to conduct a walk-in-interview in offline mode (written test and interview) for the post of Teaching Assistant (purely on an ad-hoc basis for 11 months) in the Department of Electronics Engineering on 20^th April, 2026.
