Rajkiya Engineering College Churk, Sonbhadra, UP, India invites applications for Faculty Recruitment in REC from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for appointment to the posts of Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor in various disciplines and for non teaching staff. The candidates are required to apply in prescribed format and send the same by speed/registered post with Requisite certificates in support of qualification and experience. The application form and details regarding qualification/eligibility criteria are appended below. The application complete in all respect shall reach to the Registrar, of the institute latest by 09.08.2023 (5:00 PM). Incomplete and late applications shall be consider as rejected

Eligibility/Qualification–
Eligibility Criteria:
PROFESSOR: Scale: Level 14
(i) B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech with Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch as per AICTE 2017 notification.
AND
(ii) Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post of an Associate Professor or above.
AND
(iii) At least 08 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI/Scopus journals (Scopus should be from reputed publisher and/or active for 5 years) and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Cosupervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion.
OR
At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI/scopus (scopus from reputed publisher and/or active for 5 years) journals till the date of eligibility of promotion. Desirable:
- Evidence of having taken up sponsored research, continuing education and/or industrial consultancy;
- Proven record of academic/research leadership, guiding UG/PG and Ph.D. students and team work
- Participation in professional society activities;
- Good knowledge of technical education system in the country and its development
- Consultancy and other methods of fund raising for the Institute shall be preferred
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: Scale: Level 13A
• Essential:
- B. E. / B. Tech. / B. S. and M. E. / M. Tech. / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch as per AICTE 2017 notification with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees AND Ph. D. degree in relevant field
AND
- At least total 6 research publications in SCI/Scopus journals (Scopus should be from reputed publisher and/or active for 5 years).
AND
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience. \
- • Desirable:
- Evidence of having taken up sponsored research, continuing education and/or industrial consultancy;
- Proven record of guiding UG/PG and Ph.D. students and team work
- Participation in professional society activities; and organisation of conferences and seminars.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Engineering):Scale: Level 10
• Essential:
(i) B.E./B.Tech/M.S. and M.E./MTech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech in the concerned discipline with a First Class at either level. All degrees to be from courses approved by AICTE/MHRD
Desirable:
- Ph.D. and GATE qualification shall be given weightage;
- Teaching/Research/Industrial experience in the relevant discipline; (iii) Publications record in refereed scientific/ professional journals.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Mathematics):Scale: Level 10
• Essential:
B.Sc., and M.Sc. (minimum 55%) and NET qualified or Ph.D. in Mathematics Desirable:
(i) Teaching/Research/Industrial experience in the relevant discipline;
(ii) Publications record in refereed scientific/ professional journals.
(iii) Having worked in engineering college
