Eligibility/Qualification
- Degree Requirements: Candidates must hold a master’s or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines, enabling them to be admitted to a Spanish PhD Programme by the fellowship’s start date (between January 1st and July 1st, 2027). Ā
- Language: A solid working knowledge of English is required. Proof of proficiency (e.g., B2 certificate, First Certificate, IELTS 6) is highly desirable, though applicants from the Anglosphere are exempt. Late-stage candidates will be interviewed to assess their English level.
- Nationalities: Open to graduate students of any nationality. Ā
Job Description
- Perform an individual research project directed by an internationally renowned Group Leader.
- Engage in complementary training for technical and soft skills, including the Severo Ochoa PhD Training Program (SHARP).
- Have opportunities to participate in short, fully funded stays at international research institutions, universities, or companies.
- Full-time commitment to ICIQ; researchers cannot receive any other fellowship with the same purpose or regular income. Ā
- Pre-doctoral contracts are renewed annually for up to 4 years. The gross yearly salary is set at ā¬25,456.10, divided into 12 monthly payments. Ā
