Eligibility/Qualification

  • Applicants should hold or be predicted to achieve a first-class or strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honors in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, or a closely related subject.
  • For applicants from the USA, a minimum GPA of 3.6 is required, although successful candidates often have a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
  • Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English at the University’s higher level.

Description

The scholarship offers a unique opportunity for students to conduct meaningful research in fundamental AI projects. Students will complete two 10-week exploratory projects with different supervisors before selecting their substantive DPhil project. The funding covers all course fees, provides a generous stipend, and includes additional resources to support research activities.
