Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree requirements fulfilled prior to joining (excluding final dissertation submission)
- Minimum of two accepted conference or journal publications related to AI in high-profile venues
- Demonstrated research in human-AI interaction preferred
- Ability to collaborate productively in an interdisciplinary environment
- Candidates with tenure-track academic job offers encouraged to apply
Job Description:
- Conduct research and scholarship focused on novel approaches to AI, human-AI interaction, alignment, and trustworthy AI
- Co-mentor graduate and undergraduate students
- Co-author proposals for extra-mural funded projects (e.g., from the NSF)
- Collaborate with Hal Daumé within the broader context of CLIP, HCIL, TRAILS, and VCAI
