Essential Qualification:
- PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, or a relevant Plant Science discipline.
- Thesis research should primarily focus on areas such as:
- CRISPR-Cas9-mediated gene editing
- Prime editing
- Transgenic generation
- Novel gene construct development
- Evaluation of transgenic lines
Desirable Skills:
- Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation in soybean, mustard or pigeon pea
- Particle-gun-mediated plant transformation
