IPI Postdoctoral Research Fellowships: The Initiative Physique des Infinis (IPI) is offering Postdoctoral Research Fellowships for the 2023/2024 academic year. IPI is an extraordinary research program based at Alliance Sorbonne Université in Paris, France, focusing on Plasma Physics and the Physics of the Universe. This program seeks to bring together researchers, educators, and students from a wide range of physics disciplines. Eligibility/Qualification:
- Recent Ph.D. graduates with a Ph.D. awarded no more than three years prior to the start date of the postdoctoral contract.
- Strong research background and commitment to high-quality scientific work.
- Candidates are required to contact a permanent member of one of the IPI member laboratories (listed in the job description) and obtain a recommendation letter from them.
Job Description: IPI fellows will conduct research in one of the IPI member laboratories, specializing in high energy physics, physics of the Universe, or plasma physics. Research topics encompass a wide range of fields, including laser-plasma acceleration, cosmology, dark energy, matter/antimatter, and much more (see job description for full list). Fellows will benefit from extensive resources, intellectual support, and opportunities to engage with leading facilities. IPI members are actively involved in numerous international projects, providing a dynamic and collaborative research environment.
