Summary:
The Miller Institute for Basic Research in Science is inviting applications for the prestigious Miller Research Postdoctoral Fellowship. This opportunity is designed to support exceptional young scientists in the basic sciences to pursue their research at UC Berkeley.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Recently awarded or about to be awarded a doctoral degree.
- No more than two years of postdoctoral experience at other institutions by the proposed fellowship start date.
- Not employed as an assistant professor, associate professor, or professor.
- Eligible to obtain J-1 Scholar visa status if a non-US citizen.
- Ph.D. must be awarded by August 31, 2025, and no earlier than January 2023.
- Not holding any paid or unpaid position on the Berkeley campus at the time of nomination and throughout the competition and award cycle.
Job Description:
The Miller Research Fellowships are awarded for a period of three years, starting between July 1 and September 1, 2025. Fellows will receive a stipend starting at $85,000 with annual increases, a research fund of $10,000 per annum, medical benefits, and allowances for relocation and travel. Miller Fellows will perform their research in facilities provided by their host UC Berkeley academic department(s).
