Eligibility/Qualification

  • Completed degree at second-cycle level or equivalent (240 ECTS credits, including at least 60 ECTS at second-cycle level)
  • 90 ECTS credits relevant to the doctoral thesis project, with at least 30 ECTS in a subject closely related to the research topic
  • Strong interest in molecular plant biology and computational approaches
  • Academic background in Plant Biology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field
  • Good skills in written and spoken English
  • Merits include experience with analysis of large-scale sequencing data, bioinformatics tools, structural biology, programming (e.g., Python, R), and computational modeling of biological systems

Job Description

  • Pursue doctoral studies, including participation in research and postgraduate courses
  • Potential teaching and other departmental work (up to 20%)
