Scholarship Description
This fully-funded, 4-year PhD research position focuses on developing computational models that represent the priorities of disabled workers and their employers for AI-supported matchmaking. The project aims to create novel knowledge representations and matching algorithms to improve the person-environment fit and sustainable employment for workers with disabilities. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team and receive mentorship from experienced international scholars.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, artificial intelligence, information systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English (C1; above IELTS 7 or equivalent).
- Interest and some experience in knowledge representation, reasoning, logic and formal methods, knowledge engineering, conceptual modeling, or requirements engineering.
- Experience or interest in qualitative and quantitative empirical research with vulnerable and marginalized groups.
- Good communication, conceptual, and analytical skills.
- Interest in multidisciplinary environments and societal impact.
