Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completion of a Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, economics, econometrics, computer science, etc.) by summer 2024.
- Strong interest in conducting high-quality academic research in relevant topic areas.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in programming and experience in handling large datasets.
Description: As a PhD candidate in Finance, you’ll be enrolled in our PhD program and undertake empirical research projects with a focus on areas such as corporate finance, banking, fintech, behavioral finance, and more. Under the guidance of Prof. Vesa Pursiainen, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research while also gaining valuable teaching and academic experience.
