Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Candidates should hold at least an upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate degree or above in a relevant field.
  • Background in physics, mathematics, computer science, computational neuroscience, or related disciplines preferred.
  • Proficient in mathematics, programming (Python or C++), modeling, analyzing complex systems, simulation, and software development.
  • Passion for neuroscience, interdisciplinary projects, and collaborative work.

Job Description:

The successful candidates will develop and simulate large-scale spiking neural network models utilizing high-performance computing systems. This project involves close collaboration with institutions in Germany and Australia, exploring structure and plasticity in large-scale neural networks for event-based sensing.
