Eligibility/Qualification–
- Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics with specialization in Magnetism and/or Semiconductor research.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply.
- Strong publication record in relevant research areas is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in optical or magneto-optical spectroscopy on semiconductors.
- Hands-on research experience related to quantum materials and spectroscopy techniques.

Designation

Selected candidates will work on advanced experimental research projects involving quantum materials and magneto-optical techniques.
Responsibilities include:
- Development of high-precision Faraday and Kerr spectroscopic systems for 2D quantum materials.
- Research on quantum materials and device physics under the National Quantum Mission program.
- Performing experiments related to magneto-optical spectroscopy and semiconductor materials.
- Data analysis, interpretation, and publication of research findings in reputed journals.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary research teams and contributing to project milestones.
Tenure of Appointment
- Chanakya Post-Doctoral Fellow / SRF:
Initially 10 months, extendable based on project continuation and performance. - Research Associate-I / SRF:
Valid up to 31 March 2027, extendable based on project continuation and satisfactory performance.
