Eligibility/Qualification

Required Qualifications:

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree (to be completed by the time of the employment decision).
  • Experience with molecular dynamics simulations.
  • Experience in collaborative work environments.
  • Research expertise in relevant fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years.
  • Teaching abilities and collaborative skills.
  • Experience with enhanced sampling simulations and coarse-grained force fields.

Job Description

The postdoctoral fellow will conduct molecular dynamics simulations of Kv7 ion channels bound to various modulators. The role will involve integrating findings within a collaborative framework, working alongside teams focused on cryo-electron microscopy, electrophysiology, behavioral experiments, and machine learning.
