Postdoc opportunity – Drug design: The Medical University of Vienna is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join an innovative project focused on drug design and pharmacology. Current opioid-based analgesics, while effective, come with the severe side effects of addiction and respiratory depression, leading to the opioid epidemic. We aim to develop novel analgesics and anti-inflammatory agents targeting the κ-opioid receptor to address this issue. Come to Vienna and be part of a groundbreaking research endeavor in the development of circular peptide therapeutics.
