Eligibility/Qualification:
- Hold a PhD in molecular biology or a related field.
- Required experience in genomics experiments and/or bioinformatics analysis.
- Desirable skills include experience with single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&Tag, HiC, or DamID, bioinformatics analysis of short reads, and publication experience.
- Advantageous experience in neurobiology, mouse genetics, and machine learning.
Job Description:
- Engage in the project on the epigenetic and transcriptional basis of neuroplasticity under the mentorship of Group Leader, Dr. Taro Kitazawa.
- Utilize cutting-edge genomics technologies and contribute to developing novel approaches.
- Perform bioinformatics analyses in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team working on in vivo mouse circuits, electrophysiology, and behavior.
- Opportunities for developing skills in grant writing, networking, and scientific communication.
- Present research findings at international conferences and participate in lab management and departmental activities.
