Eligibility/Qualification:
- Doctoral Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Molecular or Cell Biology or related field by August 15th, 2023
- Proficiency in experimental design, mammalian cell culture, drug treatment, western blotting, data analysis, and result reporting
Job Description: The Postdoctoral Associate will:
- Work under the guidance of Principal Investigator Dr. Wei Yang
- Participate in multi-level proteomics research to understand and combat cancer metastasis
- Investigate the roles and mechanisms of RIPK2 in prostate cancer metastasis and immune evasion
- Identify upstream regulators and downstream signaling pathways of RIPK2
- Contribute to the development of therapeutic strategies targeting RIPK2
- Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and perform literature searches
- Assist in manuscript writing and potentially grant writing
- Maintain lab equipment, order supplies, and assist in lab management
- Attend scientific conferences and meetings as required
