Shyam Lal College, Delhi invites applications for the assistant professor Vacancy in Delhi University from eligible and interested candidates.
About- Applications are being invited for the appointment of Guest Faculty in various departments, including Computer Science, History, Mathematics, and Political Science. Eligibility criteria are as per UGC Regulations, 2018 and University of Delhi/UGC. Candidates must be enrolled in the Ad-hoc panel of their respective Department. The application format can be downloaded from the college website. Superannuated teachers may also be considered as guest faculty, with a maximum age limit of 70 years. Candidates must not hold any other teaching assignments. Applications can be submitted by registered/speed post or email to the Principal at Shyam Lal College, Delhi. Interview dates and times will be displayed on the college website. The college reserves the right to change the number of posts or not to fill any of the notified posts.

Eligibility/Qualification: The eligibility criteria for the Guest Faculty are as per the UGC Regulations, 2018 and as adopted by the University of Delhi/UGC
Candidates should be enrolled with Ad-hoc panel of the respective Department of the University of Delhi. Candidates whose name is not enrolled in the ad-hoc panel list will not be considered for interview.
- The superannuated (Retired) teachers may also be considered for engagement as guest faculty subject to maximum age limit of 70 years.
- The candidate should not hold any other teaching assignment.
Emoluments: The Guest Faculty will be paid an honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month as per the UGC norms.
Job Description: The selected candidates will be required to deliver lectures and perform other academic duties as assigned by the University from time to time.

Please note that no application will be accepted after 18.08.2023.
