Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Required: PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Candidates must have completed their PhD or have it completed by the start of employment.

  • Fabrication of gas-phase packed bed reactors
  • NMR spectroscopy (e.g., 1H, 11B, 15N NMR of liquid solutions)
  • X-ray diffraction
  • ICP-OES
  • In situ diffuse reflectance infrared spectroscopy (DRIFTS)
  • Temperature programmed desorption
  • Probe molecule chemisorption (e.g., CO or H2 pulsed chemisorption)
  • Transmission electron microscopy
  • Catalyst synthesis

Job Description:

The Postdoctoral Fellow will provide an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research under the guidance of a senior faculty mentor. The primary responsibilities include conducting research related to catalysis, characterizing catalysts, and developing new methodologies in the field.
